I'm Val Baffone. I have lived in the heart of our district for 18 years and am deeply rooted in our community. I love it here. We've always valued our beautiful, safe neighborhoods and special quality of life. Celebrating 50 years of statehood, it's now time for new leaders in Juneau who will listen, work hard and solve problems. We can't afford to continue with the old style politics that has so damaged our trust in state government. I feel you need to get to know people if you intend to effectively represent them and that is why I have been walking door to door meeting you and listening to your concerns.
I'm running for State House because it's time for for new energy that will produce results for Alaskans. I'm ready to put my experience and energy to work, across party lines, for you! As a labor relations professional and small business owner I've spent my career negotiating solutions and fighting for good jobs for Alaskan families. You have every right to expect better and more effective State Government. You should trust that your voice is represented. I'll be new energy working for you!
